What are the property taxes and
maintenance fees at Ridge Lake Shores?
Since there are no MUD taxes in this area of Montgomery County, property taxes
are about 2.5% of a discounted appraised value. Annual maintenance fees are $350 for forest lots and $450 for waterfront
lots.
Are
investors welcome and in what time frame must you build on your property?
Bluegreen welcomes investors and you never have to build on your property. The choice is
yours, hold for the long-term or build when you choose, selecting your own builder.

When I build my home, are there size requirements
and who is responsible for getting utilities to my property?
Ridge Lake Shores requires a 2000 sq. ft. minimum for one-story homes and 2400 sq. ft. minimum for two-story homes on
forest lots and 2400 sq. ft. one-story and 2800 sq. ft. two-story minimums for waterfront lots. Bluegreen the developer
brings all utilities underground to your property line such as water, electricity, gas and communications. The homeowner
is responsible for their own eco-friendly septic system.
Are
there architectural guidelines and procedures to build my home at Ridge Lake Shores?
Yes. Your plans must be approved
by the Architectural Control Committee. To maintain quality building standards and neighborhood appeal, only brick,
stucco, stone or other masonry products can be used for the construction of your home. Vinyl, aluminum & steel siding
are NOT allowed.
If I live in another state will I be assisted with my travel, hotel and tour plans in Texas to view the property?
The staff of Texas Lake Shores will gladly assist you in your
airline, hotel and tour arrangements to view properties and make your experience enjoyable. There is no pressure, if you like
